[And Sollux is very quick to answer it (he wasn't lying when he said he doesn't really do anything around here), but when he sees his friend he just can't help but roll his eyes, not that you'd ever be able to tell. Seriously it's like KK is always getting beaten up anymore, it's actually kind of funny when he thinks about it.]

[of course when he says FF he's talking about his Shellos, but he's not actually going to explain that or anything so, yeah. said Shellos is crawling (slithering? however you would describe that type of movement) excitedly around the room, and his Natu is chillin' on a chair or something, but other than that the room is pretty much just normal. for Sollux, at least, so it's only vaguely organized and yeah, his belongings are sort of placed around the room in red and blue color-coded fashion, but at least you can walk around. and dis* isn't anywhere in sight, so there's no danger of it just staring stupidly at people and creeping them out. ~~also this should not have been so long but apparently the mun writes too much at times.~~]

[Karkat raises an eyebrow at that, but comprehension erases that once he spots the Shellos. Not his fault he didn't know what Sollux named it! The Natu gets a glance, too, as he steps on inside.]

[to his credit, Sollux doesn't actually laugh, although it's pretty damn close and he still sort of snorts before rolling his eyes again (if he can't laugh he has to do something) and going over it again. not quite as slow as when he taught him to do it in the first place, maybe, but slow enough that if KK's actually paying attention he should be able to follow along. at least, hopefully.]

[Sollux of course gets a bit of a glare for that snort.]

[But if there's one thing that can be said about Karkat, it's that he listens when he actually cares about a subject. Whether or not it makes him any good at it is clearly another issue entirely, but it's enough to get him through the explanation this time. So at the end, without any prompting, he gives it a try.]
